MAX WILSON – Vocals, Accoustic and Electric Guitar, Keyboards, Composer and Lyricist.
Max was born in Shrewsbury and grew up in Bebington, Wirral, near Bikenhead. He claims he went to nearly every school in the Wirral including New Chester Road Secondary Modern and Calday Grammar School and eventually to Liverpool College of Commerce (now John Moores University). He gained a London University B.Sc(Econ) in 1968 and a Worcester University B.Sc In Mental Health Nursing a few years later in 2005.
Max has been musical most of his life. He lived through Merseybeat as a teenager, became a band manager and later turned his hand to song writing. After a long gestation period he started to show promise and began to record with musician friends in the 1980`s. In the 1990`s he made two albums under the names Square Wheels and the Boomer Brothers with musician friend Lyndon Robbins (below). He always yearned for his own recording studio and to learn how to use it and finally achieved this in 2008.
Max has two sons, Mark aged 28, now in Australia, and Myles, aged 26, who lives near Bordeaux, France. He lives with a lady named Judy in a small village near Ross-on-Wye. His hobbies are carriage driving and musical films.
LYNDON ROBBINS
Lyndon is a single man, a divorced and devoted father with two adult children, Gregory aged 24 and Sarah aged 28 and he has two grandchildren. He lives in Ross-on-Wye where he is a familiar face in live music venues where he has been often seen to get up and play.
Lyndon trained as a materials controller and later became qualified as purchasing officer. Lyndon`s early life was spent in Ross-on-Wye, later he moved to the London area and then Hampshire, he worked for several large companies including British Aerospace and Rank Xerox.
Lyndon was always musical and became a talented string instrument musician. It is said you can give him anything with strings and inside ten minutes he seems to have mastered it. He can play electric six string guitar, acoustic six string guitar, bass guitar, and also can play the harmonica. He also sings and on the latest MTTE album supplies backing vocals.
Lyndon has played in quite a few semi-professional bands, playing many styles of popular music, the blues, rock, country, folk and pop. Currently his ambition is to develop his composition skills.
Lyndon has been working with Max on and off for twelve years and has now made three albums with him.
HANNAH WRIEDEN
Hannah Wrieden is aged 30 and was born in Wolverhampton but brought up in Heath Hayes near Cannock, Staffs. She was educated at Chasetown High School and later at Queen Mary`s High School,Walsall. She gained a B.A in Music at University in Birmingham. She then went onto the Guildhall School of Music, London University, where she gained a Master of Arts degree.
As a teenager in Staffordshire she joined her first rock band. Hannah lived in Essex for a while and moved to Ross-on-Wye in 2006. Hannah has a twin sister and got married in 2006.
Hannah is an all round musician; she teaches music, and plays the Piano, Bassoon, Saxaphone and Bass guitar. In MTTE she has has been asked to supply backing vocals and play bass guitar.
TOM DUNKLEY
Tom Dunkley is aged 16 and lives at Christchurch in the Forest of Dean. He comes from the well known Dunkley Forest musical family, headed by Jim and Jennifer Dunkley and has three brothers and a sister. His brothers all play the drums too while father Jim has been playing guitar and drums in bands for more than 40 years.
Tom went to Berry Hill Primary School and then Lakers Secondary School which he left this summer (2010). Tom will next read for a Diploma in Music at Gloucester College.
Tom has already played in several bands. His first appearance was aged 7 at the Miners Arms, Sling, accompanying a singer/ songwriter named Robert Mark Smith. He frequently plays with his fathers band `Jim and Friends, plays in a young rock band named `CJD`, and of course with MTTE. Tom possesses wide tastes in music, from country to funk rock, hard rock, alternative and mainstream rock. In 2009 he was spotted playing at a South Herefordshire Musical Festival by Lyndon Robbins who was very impressed and MTTE approached him to play with them. Tom`s mature attitude to his music makes him fit in perfectly with grizzled rockers Max and Lyndon and professional musician Hannah.
